Absolutely. Our Extension Kit and Extension Rod (available from our Accessories) allow easy installation of any of our fans on any type of ceiling height.

All of our fans were designed to allow an easy DIY installation. However, some jurisdictions require a certified electrician to do the installation. We always recommend seeking the help of a certified electrician.

Most Wi-Fi networks operate using 2 bands: 2.4 GHz band and the 5 GHz band. You MUST disable the 5 GHz band in your Wi-Fi settings for the fan to pair with the Tuya App.  Once the pairing is completed you may re-enable the 5GHz band and your fan will still work.

The power must be OFF on the fan. Not just the fan stopped, NO POWER to the fan

• Download the Tuya Smart App
• Set up an account and login
• Add Device
• Select: Small Home Appliances
• Select Fan (Wi-Fi)
• Select 2.4 GHZ (this should be auto selected already)
• You should see your Wi-Fi network and you need to enter your Wi-Fi
• Password and hit next
• Turn on the power to the fan
• Select "Light is blinking Quickly" there is no light, you just need to select this option

A countdown in the app on your smart device will have begun now

• On your remote for the Fan set the fan to the slowest speed with the down arrow button (AE models) on fans remote or speed one on FR remote.
• Hold down that same button (down arrow on AE models or center on/off button on FR models) Hold it down for 5 seconds and you will hear the fan beep twice.
• The Tuya Smart App will recognize the fan at this point.
• This will take you to the Fan which you can now change settings and use the TUYA app on your smart device to control all the fan functions.
