Aeratron AE+3 Series

This is an elegant fan which looks artistic and beautiful whether moving or still. The air movement is as impressive as it is hushed . Truly the quietest fan ever! But, why oh why does the remote need to have such a loud ‘beep’ when changing the fan settings? No problem during the day however, when attempting to address my present state of ‘temperature regulation issues’ at night, (ladies, you know what I mean) the beep will wake my partner. Loss on one star for this design flaw, otherwise THE best ceiling fan I have ever purchased.
Ugh… can the beep be programmed into silence, as well??

Pairing Instructions for the Aeratron WiFi Fan.
Instructions as of 01/29/25

Follow these instructions. Prior to starting Step 3 Wifi Setup:

Before starting, it is required that your Wifi Network is ONLY running the 2.4 GHz band in order to pair the Fan with the Tuya Smart App.

Most Wifi networks operate using 2 bands the 2.4 GHz band and the 5 GHz band. You MUST disable the 5 GHz band in your wifi settings in order for the fan to pair with the Tuya App. Once the pairing is completed you may re-enable the 5GHz band and your fan will still work.

Once you have your Wifi Settings set that only the 2.4 GHz band is enabled you can start the instructions in Step 3.

New Step 3 Instructions:

The power must be off on the Fan. Not just the Fan stopped, no power to the Fan
Download the Tuya Smart App
Setup an account and login
Add Device
Select Small Home Appliances
Select Fan(WiFi)
Select 2.4 Ghz (this should be auto selected already)
You should see your wifi network and you need to Enter your WiFi Password and hit Next
Turn on the Power to the Fan
Select Light is blinking Quickly - there is no light, you just need to select this option. A countdown will be begin.
On your remote for the Fan set the fan to the slowest speed with the down arrow button (greyed(pink) out button on remote above
Hold down that same button (greyed (Pink) out) down arrow for 5 seconds and you will here it beep twice. The Tuya Smart App should recognize the fan at this point.
This will take you to the Fan which you can now change settings and use the remote on your phone.
- Once you have completed adding the fan to the Tuya app you can go back to your Wifi system and re-engage the 5ghz band and your fan will still work with your phone and smart speakers like Google and Alexa if they have been linked.

The fans are beautiful, and efficient, they're good fans. I've owned several AE3 fans in all my rooms for 10+ years, but am now ready for automation possibilities. These were expensive fans to start with, so I am very disappointed in the WiFi technology, or lack thereof. My fans have no option for the WiFi module, and further, even for the new fans that are compatible, the wifi module is designed only to work with their mobile app. Very poor attention to planning ahead and research on consumer technology needs, 1 star for that. I cannot recommend this product to anyone, until wifi access is updated.

It’s beautiful! Company is wonderful to deal with! Have yet to hang it but will take pictures when I do!
