Small size is perfect for circulating the air above my bed - even with the air conditioning, which is too stagnant for me.
But we purchased AERATRON for the silence. The DC apparently is the difference - there is a transformer that does the conversion from AC. Did I mention aesthetics? Love its simplicity.
But there is yet a 3rd reason to purchase from Aeratron. The customer service is incredible. They actually answer the phone, and even call you back if they missed your call. I will never purchase another fan from anyone other than Aeratron. One thing to mention - there is a beep when the fan or light is powered on. If this is something you want to eliminate, make that decision before you install the fan. They will talk you through how to 'hack' that feature out. Just call customer service - a HUMAN will answer the phone.
I purchased the white, Aeratron FR3 50' 3 blade, no light for our master bedroom (21×15ft) in our contemporary home..Excellent air circulation & cooling down the room without putting the AC on...no wobbling or humming...
just airflow sound..It's the best fan I've purchased! Love the style.. The remote is easy to navigate around during night without turning on a light..My electrician needed to cut a hole through the ceiling to mount, the instructions were clear & didn't have any difficulties in installing.

Just installed 2 of these fans out on my covered screened lanai Florida Moving air quietly and the light appeared small but it is mighty. This is my 5th Aeratron fan and would not buy any other

Regret not having this installed last summer, or any prior summer. It's great; silent, very effective, and pretty decent-looking, tho I'm probably not the best judge of aesthetics. I slept SO well last night. Very curious to see how much of a bump I'll see in my electric bill. Also looking forward to seeing how well it circulates warm air from the radiator in the winter so maybe I won't have to turn it up as high. Happy customer here, thanks
